Hyne Town House Newsletter
Winter 2014
Hyne Town House enjoyed
a varied and fun-packed schedule of events leading up to Christmas. Judging by
the comments of some of the residents both residents and their families much enjoyed
the entertainment on offer.
Margaret said “It was
the best Christmas she’d had. You couldn’t have done more. It was lovely “.
Another resident, who obviously
enjoyed the delicious Christmas lunch stated “The food was better than a 5 star
hotel”.
Steve and I would like
to say a huge thank-you to Jean and all the staff for organising and co-ordinating
such a wonderful festive season.

their Families at the Christmas Carol Service
With the completion of
the extension and refurbishment work, the Home has finally achieved the
standard Steve and I always envisaged. We are both enormously proud of the end
result and although refurbishments, renewals and upgrades will (and should) continue
to take place I think we’ve seen the last of the builders for a while!!
The enlarged car park
has prompted many favourable comments and, as the planting becomes established
this summer, it should look even more welcoming.
Can we remind
residents, their families and friends that private dining is available in the
quiet lounge. The lounge is used for monthly meetings by The Stroke Association
and if anyone else would like to use the room for a meeting or social event
please speak to Jean.
